Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within hurlbertlab/dietdatabase hash://md5/a83348d677fd1ba3f3582d1ad7bb6b73

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named hurlbertlab/dietdatabase, has fingerprint hash://md5/a83348d677fd1ba3f3582d1ad7bb6b73, is 43.8MiB in size and contains 74,292 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., eats) between 763 primary taxa (e.g., Bubulcus ibis) and 7,157 associated taxa (e.g., Animalia). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
