Visual Notes from the INQUA ROMA Conference (2023)
"INQUA Rome was a sweltering, beautiful gathering of the International Union for Quaternary Research, an organisation founded in 1928 by scientists to improve the understanding of environmental changes and processes during the glacial ages, using interdisciplinary approaches. And that diversity of research and thought was apparent at a glance at both the extensive and rich programme and the makeup of the crowds attending. This might be my newbie side speaking, but I have, frankly, never seen researchers from what felt like a truly global perspective in one place."
