Recognizing this imbalance, our policy underscores the imperative of targetedinitiatives to promote educational opportunities for children from all minority communities, with aspecial focus on those that have historically faced significant educational barriers. The aim of NEPcannot be fulfilled without the paradigms of full inclusion and non-exclusion. For this purpose, all thecitizens of the country should work collaboratively as well as at their own pace. The study focuses onthe Present scenario of Madarsa education system. We cannot neglect the fact that Madrasas, as a placeof education, have played a vital role in spreading literacy among the down-trodden segments of theMuslim society. The study is an attempt towards exploring and analyzing the role of Madrasaeducation in India, pointing out the shortcomings of present Madrasa education and understandingthe existing policy concern for the issue. The objective of the study is to highlight the key features, importance, need, pedagogy, policy making and implementation, attitude of teachers, students andothers related with Madarsa education system. For this purpose, data is collected in a open endedquestionnaire form with certain dimensions. Responses are collected and coded by the researchernumerically and theoretically and suggesting some related remedial measures. The study is a smallattempt to understand and improve the quality of Madrasa education for overall development of nationin general and Muslim community in particular.
