THE STUDY OF THE FLORA OF ISMAYILLI REGION(AZERBAIJAN)

The main objective of the conducted research is to study the biodiversity of the flora in the mountainous part of the Ismayilli district, to protect rare and endangered plant species, as well as to collect seeds of rare plants to replenish the seed bank collection. The research also includes the introduction, propagation, development of agronomic techniques, as well as bio-ecological and biomorphological studies of some rare plants of Azerbaijan's flora. The article presents data obtained during monitoring conducted under natural conditions on trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants distributed in the Ismayilli district. A total of 50 plant species were collected, 10 of which are included in the "Red Book."
