OUR EXPERIENCE IN THE TREATMENT OF COTRELLE-DEBUSSY SCOLIOSIS

Currently, surgical treatment of scolysis is performed using the Cotrel-Dubousset method using transpedicular screws. We operated on 174 patients with scoliotic spinal deformities of various localization and varying degrees. In all cases of correction of scoliotic spinal deformity, it was possible to achieve trunk balance in both the frontal and sagittal planes. Studying the types of complications and their causes in the surgical treatment of scoliosis allowed us to identify patterns of their occurrence and identify ways to eliminate them, as well as develop tactics for their prevention, which determined a high percentage of positive functional and cosmetic treatment results.

We operated on 174 patients with scoliotic spinal deformities of various localization and varying degrees. In all cases of correction of scoliotic spinal deformity, it was possible to achieve trunk balance in both the frontal and sagittal planes.
