Unlocking the Potential of Human-Robot Synergy under Advanced Industrial Applications: The FEROX Simulator
Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC) in advanced industrialscenarios has emerged as a transformative force. Modern robots, infusedwith artificial intelligence (AI), can enhance human capabilities, offeringa wide spectrum of opportunities in agriculture, forestry, constructionand many other domains. However, the complex nature of HRC demandsrealistic simulators to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Thispaper introduces the FEROX Simulator, purpose-built for robot-assistedwild berry collection. We briefly delve into the simulator’s capabilitiesto showcase its potential as a platform to develop HRC systems. Ourresearch underscores the need for simulators designed for challengingHRC contexts and aims to inspire further advancements in this domain.
