Thus, there is an urgent need to improve methodological approaches to risk assessment and mitigation in the agricultural sector.Research Objective. The aim of this study is to develop theoretical and methodological approachesto risk management in agribusiness.Research Methods. The study is based on a comprehensive approach, including the analysis ofscientific literature, statistical data, and expert assessments. The research employs comparativeanalysis, econometric risk modeling, and multifactor analysis.Key Research Findings. The study revealed that the most critical risks for the agricultural sectorinclude climate threats (droughts, floods, climate change), financial instability (currency fluctuations, high credit rates), market risks (price volatility in agricultural products), and political factors (legislativechanges, unstable agricultural policies). A set of risk mitigation measures was proposed, including thedevelopment of insurance systems, agribusiness diversification, the introduction of digital technologies, and the improvement of state support mechanisms.Application of Research Results. The findings can be applied by government institutions, agricultural enterprises, financial institutions, and investment funds for developing risk managementstrategies and forming policies to support the agricultural sector.Conclusions. Risk management is a crucial component in ensuring the resilience andcompetitiveness of agricultural enterprises. To minimize the negative impact of risks, it is necessaryto improve monitoring mechanisms, enhance technological readiness, and expand governmentsupport opportunities. A comprehensive approach to risk management will contribute to the stabledevelopment of the agricultural sector in the long term.
