Сontent features of young concruits' attitude to military service

The article deals with the results of a study of the meaningful attitude of young conscripts to military service. The data was obtained using qualitative research methods, i.e. by means of questionnaires containing open and closed questions. The questionnaire was aimed at solving the following research problems: research into the content of the basic and value-semantic beliefs of young people; the content of the attitude towards the military profession and the correlates associated with this attitude, namely a sense of patriotism and defense of the homeland, attitude towards the military profession and readiness to defend the homeland, one’s loved ones, various types of motivation in the situation of accepting the military profession. The survey data confirms correlation relationships with other variables of standardized research methods. 75 young men of military age took part in the study.
