Urological injuries, concomitant cardiological complications, and cardiovascular risks after gynecological surgery: diagnosis and therapeutic approaches

Gynecological surgical procedures such as hysterectomy and pelvic organ surgery can cause a wide range of postoperative complications. Urological injuries, as well as concomitant cardiological complications and cardiovascular risks, are among the most serious. Such complications may include damage to the bladder, urethra, as well as the development of coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, and hypertensive crises. Patients with previous cardiac diseases have an increased risk of developing such complications in the postoperative period. In this regard, it is important to conduct a comprehensive cardiological examination to assess the state of the cardiovascular system, including electrocardiography, echocardiography and blood tests. In addition, the diagnosis of urological injuries requires high qualifications and care on the part of medical personnel. The use of modern imaging techniques, such as ultrasound diagnostics, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, allows timely detection of damage to the urinary organs. Therapeutic approaches to the treatment of urological injuries and cardiovascular complications include both drug treatment and surgical interventions aimed at restoring damaged structures. To prevent cardiac complications, strict monitoring of the cardiovascular condition is recommended, as well as correction of existing risk factors such as hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes mellitus. It is important to individualize the approach to the treatment of each patient, taking into account his clinical characteristics, age, concomitant diseases and the results of diagnostic studies. The authors emphasize the need for an interdisciplinary approach in the treatment of such complications, which implies close cooperation between cardiologists, surgeons, urologists and gynecologists. Preventive measures aimed at reducing the risk of urological injuries, including detailed preoperative planning, the use of modern technologies and professional development, are being considered. Thus, an integrated approach to the diagnosis and treatment of urological injuries and cardiac complications that occur after gynecological surgery can reduce the level of postoperative risks and improve the quality of life of patients.

In addition, the diagnosis of urological injuries requires high qualifications and care on the part of medical personnel. Therapeutic approaches to the treatment of urological injuries and cardiovascular complications include both drug treatment and surgical interventions aimed at restoring damaged structures.
