Short-Term Clinico-Functional Outcomes of Open Reduction with Endobutton Fixation for Unstable Lateral End of Clavicle Fractures
Fractures occurring on the distal side of the clavicle that are completely displaced have a significant likelihood of not healing properly and are linked to unfavorable functional results when treated without surgery. There are different methods to treat these fractures, but initial studies have demonstrated positive early functional results and a low rate of complications with open reduction using endobutton fixation. The aim of this research is to evaluate the surgical and postoperative clinical and functional outcomes of open reduction with endobutton fixation for patients with unstable fractures at the lateral end of the clavicle.
