Experiencing Emergent Time: A Simulation of Temporal Rhythm through NSI
This record contains the supplemental materials for the article “Experiencing Emergent Time: A Simulation of Temporal Rhythm through NSI” by Karel Hrubec. The article explores the hypothesis that internal time emerges from dynamic stabilization in response to entropy. Using the Negentropic Stabilization Index (NSI), a minimal simulation is presented in which different levels of input entropy produce distinct temporal rhythms in an artificial system. The results suggest that time may be understood not as an external axis, but as an emergent property of informational flow and negentropic regulation. This repository includes: The full PDF of the article. The source code used to generate and visualize the simulation. A sample NSI plot illustrating the relationship between entropy and temporal coherence. The materials are intended to accompany the conceptual framework presented in the article and invite further exploration of emergent time, consciousness, and information dynamics.
