ECORC'AIR - An example of an urban observatory - presentation slides.
This case study describes the Ecorc’air project. This project aims to improve urban quality of life by addressing a critical public health issue: pollution from fine metallic particles. We propose establishing an observatory to monitor and analyze this pollution using magnetic and geochemical measurements. This initiative will not only provide valuable environmental data but also actively involve citizens, encouraging volunteers to participate in environmental learning and data collection. By combining scientific research with community engagement, we seek to raise awareness and drive informed actions for a healthier and more sustainable urban environment. The case study was prepared as part of a training day of the ASDOST-CitSci project.
