CLIM4cities: from Citizen Science, Machine Learning and Earth Observation towards Urban Climate Services

This poster was presented at the ESA Digital Twin Earth Components: Open Science Meeting taking place at ESA-ESRIN in Frascati, Italy from 3 - 5 February 2025. The poster was presented by +CoLAB partners, Ines Girao and Ana Oliveira in-person on 4 Feburary 2025. The event was a networking opportunity and an invitation to scientists, research institutions, policymakers, innovators, industry, ESA DTE activities, European and national DT initiatives and projects to share their experience and contribute to shape the future evolution of the use of EO in the context of Digital Twins in Europe. The overall objectives for this workshop were to: Present the latest ESA Digital Twin projects and activities. Share the latest research and scientific results in EO, AI, modelling and technology contributing to advance Digital Twin capabilities. Identify common priorities, standards and interoperability aspects across Digital Twin activities. Foster community building and trigger collaborative research across projects and initiatives. Assessing challenges and opportunity in the use of EO data for Digital Twins. Contribute to defining a community Science and R&D agenda to advance in the effective use of EO data in Digital Twins.
