A Vision for a Strategic Alliance Between China and Taiwan
This document presents a comprehensive and visionary proposal for a peaceful strategic alliance between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of China (Taiwan). It introduces the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation — a diplomatic framework rooted in autonomy, scientific collaboration, cultural continuity, and Confucian ethics. Through detailed chapters and a structured annex, the proposal lays out a roadmap for reconciliation and stability in East Asia, highlighting shared sovereignty, phased cooperation, and trust-building mechanisms. The vision is dedicated to the late Pope Francis (1936–2025), whose commitment to peace and the dignity of the poor inspired this work.
