PRELIMINARY RESEARCH ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING BITUMEN EMULSIONS BASED ON LOCAL RAW MATERIALS AND GOSSYPOL RESIN

This article presents preliminary research on the production of bitumen emulsions using local raw materials and gossypol resin. The main materials investigated are gossypol resin and calcium oxide (CaO). The study examines the physical properties of the products resulting from the interaction between these two components. Based on these findings, it is proposed to develop petroleum-free bituminous binders to replace traditional petroleum-based bitumen and to formulate bitumen emulsions based on them.
