Crowd Sourcing Disaster Relief Management
Whether man-made or natural, disasters frequently cause confusion, misunderstandings, and delaysin relief efforts. To address these challenges, this project introduces a Crowdsourcing Disaster ReliefManagement System, a web-based platform designed to connect victims, volunteers, and administrators inreal-time. Through Google Maps integration, the system enables victims to post their current location, needs, and circumstances. Administrators and volunteers can see these posts, use Socket.IO to track the victims inreal time, and react quickly to offer aid. For every user type, role-based login guarantees customised accessand features. In order to enhance future relief efforts, the platform also has a feedback system. The projectoffers a responsive, interactive, and scalable solution by utilising contemporary web technologies likeReact.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Socket.IO. Through the use of crowdsourcing and real-timecommunication, this system improves coordination and expedites response times, providing a potent tool toassist communities affected by disasters.
