Role of Social and Emotional Learning in Enhancing Academic Performance: Evidence from West Bengal

This research examines the influence of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) on the academic achievement of students in West Bengal, India. By using a mixed-methods approach and a quasi-experimental methodology, this study investigates data obtained from schools that have implemented social-emotional learning (SEL) programs, as well as those that adhere to conventional curriculum. The research findings indicate that there are notable and favourable impacts of social-emotional learning (SEL) on academic achievements.
