An assortment of floral and ornamental plants in the landscaping of the Donetsk-Makeyevka agglomeration

The paper presents an up-to-date list of flower and ornamental plant species in the Donetsk-Makeyevka agglomeration. The landscaping of the city is dominated by flower beds in a regular style: flower beds, flower beds, container flower beds. In general, the core of the floral and decorative design is formed by 21 species of herbaceous plants. All of them show endurance and are characterized by high adaptive potential when implementing a program for their targeted use. The predominant color solutions in the design of flower arrangements are the following aspects: white, silver, orange, pink and crimson. The use of sustainable perennial crops in urban landscaping is noted, which makes it possible to form compositionally literate and aesthetically attractive plantings. It is recommended to continue studying the range of ornamental and herbaceous plant species and their varieties in order to form detailed recommendations for effective landscaping of an industrial urbanized agglomeration.
