A CASE STUDY ON THE APPROACHES OF AYURVEDA AND PHYSIOTHERAPY IN TREATING DANDY-WALKER SYNDROME ASSOCIATED WITH GLOBAL DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY
Dandy-Walker Syndrome (DWS) is a rare congenital brain malformation that affects the cerebellum and is often associated with varying degrees of developmental delay and neurological deficits. This paper aims to explore the approaches of Ayurveda and Physiotherapy in managing Dandy-Walker Syndrome (DWS) associated with Global Developmental Delay (GDD). The study presents a case analysis that combines the strengths of traditional Ayurvedic medicine with modern Physiotherapeutic interventions, offering an integrated model for enhancing the quality of life in patients with DWS and GDD. Both approaches focus on the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the patient, which is essential for their overall development and rehabilitation.
