The Structured Resonance Origin of Life_ A Unified Framework from Chemistry to Complexity

CODES: The Chirality of Dynamic Emergent Systems (Main Paper):Includes empirical, falsifiable tests Note: I keep a Stromatolite on my desk and wanted to discover its secrets! Abstract The origins of life on Earth remain one of the most profound and debated questions in science. Traditional abiogenesis models describe a gradual, stochastic emergence of self-replicating molecules from a primordial soup, but these approaches often fail to explain the underlying self-organizing principles that drive life’s emergence. This paper applies CODES (Chirality of Dynamic Emergent Systems) to model the emergence of life as a structured, phase-locked process rather than a purely random event. We argue that life arose via structured energy condensation within geochemical networks, where oscillatory phase-locking between organic chemistry, environmental cycles, and autocatalytic feedback loops led to self-replicating molecular systems. ✔ Life is an emergent resonance phenomenon—phase-locked chemical oscillations produced structured autocatalysis. ✔ Chiral asymmetry in biomolecules (e.g., amino acids, sugars) results from structured energy resonance, not randomness. ✔ Geothermal vents acted as structured phase-coherent environments, catalyzing proto-life through electrochemical and thermal gradients. ✔ RNA and metabolism likely co-emerged as a resonance network, not separately as competing theories suggest. By reframing abiogenesis as a structured resonance-driven system, we provide a unifying framework that integrates chemistry, physics, and biological self-organization into a coherent, predictive model of life’s emergence.
