Conceptual-Methodological Considerations Regarding the Development of Teaching Skills Through E-Learning

The topic addressed, concerning the development of teaching skills within the continuous development system through e-learning, is supported by an analysis of the conceptual-theoretical foundations of learning/training in virtual environments, the definition of the concept of “teaching competence profile,” and the operational conditions of educational platforms. In this context, examples of teaching skill development are presented in alignment with the Conceptual-Methodological Model for Developing Teaching Skills through E-Learning. This includes the concept of activating knowledge (conceptual, procedural, attitudinal), which is to be integrated, acquired, or developed by creating learning situations during the process of training and skill development. The veracity of the proposed Model is thus demonstrated, along with teachers’ right and freedom to choose the e-learning method for continuous learning and training.
