Responsible AI in HRM: Managing Transparency, Fairness, and Accountability for Sustainable Workforce Management

Human resource management (HRM) has been significantly influenced by AI advancements, enhancing efficiency in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. However, ethical challenges such as bias, transparency, and accountability remain critical concerns. This study analyzes recent literature to explore the balance between AI utilization and ethics in HRM. Findings highlight the lack of standardized best practices, audit trails, and mechanisms to explain AI-driven decisions, undermining trust and fairness. To address these issues, organizations should implement ethics training, develop transparent algorithms, and enforce regulations protecting workers' rights. Responsible AI use ensures ethical compliance while maximizing organizational benefits.
