Literacka perspektywa dziecka w kontekście dyktatury argentyńskiej. Postpamięć w "Pequeños combatientes" Raquel Robles oraz "¿Quién te creés que sos?" Ángeli Urondo Raboy

The literary perspective of a child in the context of the Argentine dictatorship. Postmemory in „Pequeños combatientes” by Raquel Robles and „¿Quién te creés que sos?” by Ángela Urondo Raboy After the end of the Argentine dictatorship in 1982, the children of the victims of the Dirty War had to face the consequences of their parents’ abduction by the military junta (referred to as los desaparecidos – the disappeared). In Argentina, there emerged an organization fighting for human rights called HIJOS (Hijos e Hijas por la Identidad y la Justicia contra el Olvido y el Silencio), whose task was to assist in locating the missing and counteracting the widespread forgetting of the abducted, whom those who supported the dictatorship and the military junta fought so vehemently for. Around this organization, an artistic group was formed, creating art related to their experience of the Dirty War. During its duration, HIJOS members were still children, so the literature they create in many cases portrays a child’s perspective on the difficult political situation in the country, as well as on family relationships with those who were deeply involved in the fight against the regime. My article focuses on analyzing the exploration of the concept of childhood and manifestations of post-memory in the books of Argentine writers belonging to HIJOS, Raquel Robles and Ángela Urondo Raboy, titled Pequeños combatientes and ¿Quién te creés que sos?. I would like to explain the concept of post-memory and focus on its use in the context of the collective trauma of the entire Argentine society. It is impossible to talk about HIJOS without understanding the concept of collective memory, coined by Maurice Halbwachs. An essential aspect of my work is also describing how the authors construct the figure of a child indirectly involved in political struggle and what place it occupies in the canon of Argentine literature. Robles and Urondo Raboy create the figure of a lost child deeply believing in their parents’ convictions, emphasizing their innocence and the difficulties of finding their place in society during uncertain times when there was no room for considering the perspective of a child.
