Liste des Empidoidea (hors Dolichopodidae Latreille, 1809) de 53 sites remarquables de France métropolitaine dont 36 réserves naturelles (Diptera)

A list of the Diptera Empidoidea Latreille, 1804 (excluding Dolichopodidae Latreille, 1809) recorded from 53 remarkable sites in metropolitan France including 36 nature reserves. Since 2009, Malaise traps have been installed in French nature reserves and Conservatoires d’espaces naturels to assess the conservation status of natural habitats and augment their taxonomic inventories. Previously unpublished records of Diptera Empidoidea (excluding Dolichopodidae Latreille, 1809) from 51 remarkable sites are presented here, based on material identified by the author, together with the published lists for Marais de Lavours (01) nature reserve and Forêt de la Massane (66) nature reserve, providing a synthesis of the data for 53 sites, of which 36 are nature reserves. A total of 231 species are listed, offering a significant contribution to our knowledge of these insects in France, where Empidoidea are still little known.
