Comparative of fiber optic technologies with NRZ Modulation
Introduction: Optical fiber is an essential device, in telecommunications worldwide. Objective: Optical standardization schemes are analyzed, evaluating technical parameters, in different coverage areas. Methodology: It is using a quasi-experimental and descriptive design, to describe a performance of optical communication structures. Optisystem simulations, were performed in two coverage zones. Results: The results highlight the quality of the process implemented. One of the technologies showed unsatisfactory results, while the other two technologies demonstrated efficiency. Conclusion: The study confirms the operation of the fiber optic network, with uplinks and downlinks, based on specific technologies, aligning with trends and advances in optical communications, and operate within the parameters established by the regulations. Specific area of study: Optical Fiber.
