Christian motives in modern military poetry about special military operation
The article examines Christian motives in modern war poetry about the special military operation, which, on the one hand, continues the traditions of war poetry and, at the same time, is an innovative phenomenon within the framework of the modern literary process. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that at present, literary criticism is interested in studying Russian literature in the context of the Orthodox spiritual tradition. In the process of the texts analysis, various methods and techniques have been applied, among them are analysis and synthesis, a continuous sample of lexemes for analysis, literary, cultural, and religious commentary. Christian motives found and interpreted by the author have been systematized and analyzed in accordance with the frequency of use in poetic texts. A special attention is paid to the most frequent motive-forming images, i.e. God, Cross, angel, Mary (Mother of God), Christ, Cain and Abel, the devil (antichrist, Satan, beast), etc. and the related motives. Conclusions have been made about the specifics of Christian motives in the poems of the collections The Great Checkpoint.
