CLASA NOMINA AGENTIS ÎN TEXTUL RELIGIOS: ASPECTE SEMANTICE ȘI FUNCȚIONALE
Summary. The nomina agentis class has a rich representation in the architecture of the religioustext. In fact, this is also a fundamental lexical segment in every idiom, including Romanian. Havingsuffixation as the pattern of formation, the lexical units that name the author of an action can beobtained by attaching suffixes to a verbal or substantive base. In this work, we analyzed, in particular, agent nouns formed from a verbal radical, the study being part of a more extensive research on verbalnominalizations in the Romanian language. We aimed to illustrate the semantic and functional peculiarities in a specialized textual framework. In this sense, we turned our attention to the hymnographic religious text, represented inour study by akathists – hymns of proportions, made up of 24 stanzas, belonging to the OrthodoxChristian cult. The article illustrates the semantic spectrum expressed by the nomina agentis classand their polyfunctionality within the religious text.Key words: agent name, deverbal nouns, religious text, akathist, suffixation
