DISTENDER_D9.2_Data for case studies
The deliverable D9.2 is an important milestone in the DISTENDER project that marks the completion of T9.2. The main objective of this task was to collect the required data from the core case studies to enable the modelling teams in WP4, WP5, and WP7 to perform their simulations optimally from the perspective of the case studies (WP9). This task was divided into two sub-tasks to ensure the efficient and effective collection of data.In the first sub-task, the modelling partners provided a list of data required from the core case studies to perform their simulations. This data was specific to the modelling tools used in each sector, including air quality, urban heat, agriculture, energy, water, and economy. The partners were also required to provide information on the characteristics of their data, such as units, temporal and spatial resolution, spatial data type, time periods, and formats. They were also asked to specify the source of the data, whether it could be produced by other models, available data sources, or observations that should be provided by the core case studies.Once T9.2 had gathered all the necessary information from the modelling partners, the next step was to generate a uniform and homogeneous data request (table and documentation) that would avoid duplication of requests and facilitate the provision of data by the core case studies. The data was then uploaded to the DISTENDER SFTP server, following the indications and recommendations of the deliverable D1.2 Data Management Plan I.In conclusion, the completion of task T9.2 and the delivery of the D9.2 deliverable marked an important milestone in the DISTENDER project, ensuring that the modelling teams had the necessary data to perform their simulations optimally. The efficient collection and provision of data was crucial for the success of the project, and important work of the CCS partners provided a useful dataset collection.
