The Study of Rural Entrepreneurship and It's Promotion
Abstract Rural entrepreneurship plays a vital role in economic development, employment creation, and poverty reduction in developing and developed countries. In this research paper we are going to study the role of rural entrepreneurship in employment generation, identifies major challenges faced by rural entrepreneurs, and suggests strategies for promoting entrepreneurial growth in rural areas. We also study importance of government policies, financial assistance, and skill development programs for strengthening rural entrepreneurship. The research highlights how rural entrepreneurs contribute to job creation, the utilization of local resources, and the enhancement of rural livelihoods. Rural entrepreneurship faces several challenges, including limited access to finance, poor infrastructure, limited market access, lack of technological adoption, and insufficient awareness regarding government schemes. Many rural entrepreneurs struggle with skill gaps, lack of training facilities, and dependency on traditional business models that limit scalability. This study aims to analyze these barriers and propose strategic solutions for the sustainable promotion of rural entrepreneurship. The study explores the impact of various government initiatives, such as rural development schemes, subsidies, and financial aid programs, in encouraging entrepreneurship at the grassroots level. The study investigates the role of government policies, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in promoting rural entrepreneurship. By promoting rural entrepreneurship, economies can achieve balanced regional development, mitigate rural poverty, and create employment opportunities, ultimately leading to a more self-reliant rural economy.
