Engage, Include, Inspire: Boosting IR Participation
This presentation explores effective strategies we employed to evolve the role of the Argo Scholar Commons, UWF’s institutional repository, from a passive outreach tool to an active and dynamic platform providing global access to the scholarship, research, and creativity of our faculty, students, and staff. We will explore the range of approaches we have employed to engage faculty, staff, and students, encouraging them to actively participate in showcasing their works. This presentation aims to highlight how strategies for building strong relationships and creating opportunities for collaboration has led to a richer, more diverse repository that truly represents our academic community's intellectual and creative diversity. Attendees will gain insights into practical methods for driving participation, enhancing the visibility of scholarly work, and ensuring that the Argo Scholar Commons becomes an integral part of UWF’s academic culture, reflecting the full scope and impact of our institution's contributions.
