Electric Vehicle Battery Management System with Charge Monitor, Fire Protection and Accident Detection
The ”Electric vehicle Battery Management System With Charge Monitor And Fire Protection” is a multifaceted solution designed to bolster the safety, performance, and overall experience of electric vehicle (EV) ownership. This innovative system amalgamates a range of hardware components, including Arduino, NodeMCU, batteries, temperature sensors, TP4056 charging circuits, LCD displays, relays, and even a fire extinguisher. These are complemented by a robust software ecosystem, featuring an Android application and a database for seamless functionality. The system’s capabilities span across real-time monitoring and protection. It utilizes a temperature sensor to promptly detect overheating, sending alerts to the user via the Android app and automatically activating the fire extinguisher if necessary. The TP4056 charging circuit keeps tabs on voltage and battery percentage, presenting this information on the Android app and archiving it in the database. An LCD display offers live statistics on temperature, battery voltage, and percentage. The Android application enhances user control, enabling remote charging interruption and delivering emergency alerts when battery levels are critical, charge is excessive, or temperatures spike. Furthermore, the database serves as a repository for historical data, fostering insightful analysis of battery usage and charging times. Ultimately, this comprehensive system empowers EV owners with unparalleled awareness, safety measures, and historical insights to optimize their EV experience.. In addition to this we have a tilt sensor and a hit-button, to understand the intensity of accident proneness while the GPS locates the exact location of the electric vehicle. The mechanism is quite simple beyond the threshold value of hitting pressure exceeds, the accident can be reported and notified via a server to emergency telegram bot. In connection with the emergency bot, the rescue activity can be done more efficiently.
