OPTIMIZING ENTERPRISE RAW MATERIAL INVENTORY MANAGEMENT THROUGH ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) SYSTEMS

Effective raw material inventory management is critical for the operational efficiency and profitability of enterprises. Traditional inventory management approaches often suffer from inefficiencies, such as overstocking, stockouts, and inaccurate forecasting. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have emerged as transformative tools for addressing these challenges by integrating real-time data, automating processes, and improving decision-making capabilities. This article examines the role of ERP systems in optimizing raw material inventory management, highlighting key features such as demand forecasting, inventory tracking, and supply chain integration. Case studies from industries such as manufacturing and retail illustrate the tangible benefits of ERP implementation, including cost reduction, enhanced efficiency, and improved customer satisfaction. Special attention is given to the growing adoption of ERP systems in Uzbekistan, where enterprises are leveraging digital transformation to modernize their operations. The article concludes with recommendations for successful ERP implementation and the future potential of ERP systems in raw material inventory management.
