STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INDEX BY REGIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The article considers the methodological features of the construction of the industrial production index (hereinafter referred to as the IPI) and the information and analytical support for its calculations. The analysis of the values of PPI, carried out in a regional and sectoral context, allowed us to identify key trends and features of the development of the industrial sector. As a result of the conducted research, the relationship between the territorial factor and the IPP was established, and the significance of the influence of the territorial factor was assessed. Based on the results of the analysis of the IPI data, it was found that its application allows us to obtain reliable estimates of the growth of real industrial production volumes in sectoral and territorial sections. IPI can be used to obtain a comprehensive assessment of the development of regional and sectoral economies and serve as a basis for making forecasts of their development.
