Periyarism in women's poems
It was Father Periyar who expressed the attitude that women's emancipation is possible only by women through his rational argument. She remarried her younger daughter, who lost her husband at the age of ten, and pioneered women's rights. He said that education is the basis for women to get equal rights. He also emphasized that it is necessary for women to have economic freedom like men. He also requested to drop the scriptures about women taught in the Vedas. He built a movement through his judicial party to advance women's liberation and through it also fought for women's property rights. "Everyone knows that many associations and efforts are growing day by day in many places in the world for the sake of women's liberation. In these efforts, men are also faking it by pretending to be very concerned. No liberation movement made by the efforts of men - in any way - can give true liberation to women." said the politician who said that even if he is a man, he pretends to be the voice of women's liberation. She also called for women's emancipation by saying that women should leave. The reflection of this research paper is a proposal of women's poems that inspired Periyar feminism.
