Galeommatoidea (Bivalvia) from Namibia (Part 2)

This work presents the second part of a study of the superfamily Galeommatoidea (Bivalvia) found on the continental shelf and upper bathyal slope off Namibia, SW Africa. One new species is proposed: Saxicavella trapezia n. sp. Three species (Galeomma turtoni W. Turton, 1825, Planktomya magna Gofas, 2000 and Kellia suborbicularis (Montagu, 1803)) are reported for the first time from Namibia. A fourth species (of the genus Lasaea), which is known from the literature, has not yet been confirmed
