INCULCATING BUDDHA'S ETHICAL TEACHINGS AMONGST STUDENTS
This paper helps to understand real life scenarios, how Buddha’s ethical teachings can be deeply integrated into our current educational systems to nurture students’ moral and emotional development. Drawing from the core principles of Sīla (ethical conduct), Samādhi (mental discipline), and Paññā (wisdom), the research highlights their relevance in fostering compassion, mindfulness, and ethical decision-making among students. In an era of increasing emotional stress, moral ambiguity, and societal challenges, these teachings provide a practical framework for cultivating inner balance and interpersonal harmony. The study discusses strategies for embedding these principles in classrooms through mindfulness practices, experiential learning, and teacher training, emphasizing their universal applicability beyond religious boundaries. The paper concludes by exploring the benefits, challenges, and practical recommendations for implementing such initiatives, demonstrating their potential to shape compassionate and responsible future citizens.
