ANALYSIS OF THE PROCESS OF PLASMA-ARC ATOMIZATION OF WIRES TO PRODUCE SPHERICAL GRANULATED POWDER MATERIALS

Currently, due to the rapid development of additive manufacturing, there is an urgent need to produce high-quality spherical granules and powders with special properties, namely, a high degree of sphericity, the absence of external and internal defects, a given granulometric composition, etc. The paper examines various aspects related to the most promising technologies for producing such powders.
