Aphlugiolopsis zhenfengensis Wang, Li, Shi & Chang, 2024, sp. nov.

Aphlugiolopsis zhenfengensis sp. nov., Chinese name Ẁ丰亚吟ª (Figs. 2, 3B; Map 1) Description. Male. Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, apex rounded, furrowed on dorsal surface. Eyes ovoid, protruding forward. Apical segment of maxillary palpus equal in length to subapical one, apex slightly swollen. Pronotum elongate, anterior margin almost straight, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobe longer than high, without humeral sinus. Thoracic auditory spiracle exposed. All femora unarmed on ventral surfaces. Fore coxa with 1 spine, fore tibia with 3 spines on inner margin of ventral surface, outer margin with 4 spines, tympana open on both sides. Ventral surface of middle tibia with 5 spines on inner margin and 5 or 6 spines on outer margin. Hind tibia with 24–30 spines on both margins of dorsal surface separately, bearing 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs. Tegmen short, slightly surpassing apex of abdomen, terminalia rounded. Hind wing shorter than tegmen. Tenth abdominal tergite slightly protruding backwards, the center of posterior margin slightly concave. Cercus obviously incurved, dorsal surface of basal area with 1 inner lobe, which middle area slightly broadened, apex rounded (Fig. 2C); cercus with a broad longitudinal sulcus from 1/3 base to subapical area along the midline of dorsal surface, apex rounded (Fig. 2D–F). Genitalia sclerotized, exposed, the middle of dorsal surface with a longitudinal ridge, basal area of genitalia slightly broad and basal margin deeply concave, near basal area expanded outwards, apical area narrow, the center of posterior margin with 1 short process, its apex rounded, genitalia roughly inverted bell-shaped (Fig. 3B). Subgenital plate longer than wide, the midline of ventral surface with a broad longitudinal sulcus; basal half broad, basal margin deeply concave, apical half narrow, subapical area folded ventrad, apex almost straight (Fig. 2D–E); styli long and conical, apices rounded, inserted on ventral surface of subapical area of subgenital plate (Fig. 2F–G). Female. Appearance is simillar to that of male. Pronotum relatively short. Cercus conical, apex acute. Subgenital plate triangular, wider than long, posterior margin rounded. Ovipositor slightly upcurved, both margins smooth, dorsal valvula with apex acute, ventral valvula with apex hook-shaped. (Fig. 2I). Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Eyes brown. Antennal flagellum with ringed brown stripes. Disc of pronotum with a pair of short longitudinal dark brown stripes. Tegmen with some brown spots. Genicular lobes of hind femur black brown. Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Longchang, Zhenfeng, Guizhou, China, 6 August, 2021, coll. Yun Li & Chun Chen. Paratypes: 2♂ 3♀, same collection data as holotype. Other specimens: 30♂ 15♀, same collection data as holotype. Measurements (mm). Body: ♂ 11.5–12.8, ♀ 11.5–14.5; pronotum: ♂ 3.3–4.2, ♀ 3.8–4.6; tegmen: ♂ 7.2–8.5, ♀ 8.0–10.2; hind femur: ♂ 8.9–9.8, ♀ 9.2–10.6; ovipositor: 7.5–10.3. Distribution. Guizhou (Zhenfeng). Discussion. This new species resembles Aphlugiolopsis punctipennis Wang, Liu & Li, 2015, but it differs from the latter in: morphology of male genitalia (Fig. 3B), subapical area of subgenital plate (Figs. 1E–F; 2D–G) and female subgenital plate (Figs. 1G, 2H). Etymology. The name of new species is derived from the type locality.
