OurMED M2.2 Report on Monitoring Strategies. Version 1.2

This milestone addresses knowledge gaps in demo site monitoring by utilizing innovative approaches. Existing monitoring techniques will be analysed, major challenges identified, and alternatives proposed to improve monitoring capabilities, such as high-resolution sensors, remote sensing, citizen science and low-cost cameras. These complementary strategies will generate new data, deepen the understanding of processes and support the digitization of demo sites while meeting stakeholder requirements. The milestone ensures holistic advancement of cross-sectoral water management and analysis through the integration of different methods.
