MORPHOMETRIC CHANGES IN THE ADRENAL GLANDS OF PREGNANT MARAL FEMALES
Morphometric changes are observed in the adrenal glands of pregnant maral females, which differ from those of single, although not always reliable. The thickness of the glomerular zone of the adrenal cortex increases during the first five months of pregnancy due to an increase in cell size. In the bundle zone, starting from the sixth month of pregnancy, the maximum layer thickness, the volume of cell nuclei and a significantly larger cell diameter. The thickness of the mesh layer increases significantly due to the filling of blood vessels from the fifth to the seventh month. Medulla's condition during pregnancy remains relatively stable.
