IMPROVING THE ELEMENTS OF CORN GROWING TECHNOLOGY IN THE WESTERN FOREST-STEPPE OF UKRAINE
Abstract The article deals with the improvement of crop rotations by optimizing the structure of sown areas, taking into account natural and climatic conditions, farm needs and economic feasibility. The proposed changes are aimed at reducing the area of industrial and fodder crops in favor of highly profitable cereals, in particular winter wheat. The results of the implementation of improved crop rotations are presented. Improved crop rotation contributes to the preservation of soil fertility, reduction of erosion processes, increase of ecological sustainability of land, as well as profitability of agricultural enterprises in modern market conditions.
