Prelectura: între afectiv şi cognitiv

Pre-reading involves identifying a pre-text to establish a network of connections with the text under study. Its aim is to facilitate entry into the text, accessing its world. Reading without pre-reading is a less engaging process. Entry into the text is achieved by making connections with other texts or with students" life experiences. Through pre-reading, we challenge students to find a clear motivation for reading the text. However, entering the text must be closely related to both the rational and emotional aspects of the readers. As a didactic sequence, pre-reading is the coordinating element that opens the scenario dedicated to the reception of literary text. Pre-reading is a stage through which the teacher can open pathways to understanding the text that will be studied in the classroom.
