Tunisian DOI Consortium : Progress and Achieviements
The Tunisian DOI Consortium, an initiative led by the Centre National Universitaire de Documentation Scientifique et Technique (CNUDST), represents a significant stride in enhancing the visibility and accessibility of Tunisian research outputs. Funded by DataCite's Global Access Fund (GAF), the project has led to the establishment of a sustainable national community that leverages DataCite's open science infrastructure. This presentation gives an overview of Key achievements including the progress made in the adoption of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) across national repositories and scientific journals, facilitating persistent access to research outputs. The project also emphasizes capacity building, with comprehensive training for research administrators and librarians on open infrastructure services and their implementation. This endeavor not only boosts the global presence of Tunisian research but also fosters a collaborative environment for scientific communication and preservation.
