THE ILLUSION OF REALITY AS THE MAIN CONCEPT OF A.P.CHEKHOV'S ARTISTIC CREATIV
In A.P. Chekhov's prose, students encounter the author's philosophical reflections on the meaning of human existence, on the categories of life and death. A.P. Chekhov proceeded from the fact that any point of view is relative and does not contain complete knowledge or a full-fledged assessment of specifically occurring events or phenomena. All kinds of appeals, ironic remarks and arguments of the narrator are freely introduced into the artistic context, and he leaves himself the ability to penetrate into the area of emotional experiences and the subconscious of his characters. One of the problems of forming a positive identity is the concept of the so-called ideal hero. The epistemological conditionality of Chekhov's work was not connected with the embodiment of the image of the ideal hero. But the writer always maintained faith in a man who, in certain life circumstances, could show both cowardice and weakness, as well as a willingness to selflessness and the most heroic act. The content of the writer's epistemological act was an unshakeable confidence in man's ability to make endless discoveries, despite all the relativity and hypothetical nature of human judgments and knowledge about the world around him.
