Data Management Plan (version under review)
This document outlines the primary components of the data management policy pertaining to all datasets collected throughout the project's implementation. It serves as a dynamic document providing guidance on how to access, manage and share scientific and personal data. Furthermore, CREDIBLE will contribute to the development of the European Soil Observatory (EUSO). To ensure that relevant knowledge and project outputs are fed to the EUSO, the consortium will identify in the DMPs which knowledge and specific datasets might be of relevance, if any, to the EUSO and how they would be made accessible (including considerations on ownership). The DMPs will be made available to the JRC to validate their relevance and provide recommendations on how the integration of knowledge to EUSO can be organised. This report presents the initial version of the Data Management Plan for the CREDIBLE project. The CREDIBLE Data Management Plan has been elaborated giving a special emphasis on: - Access, handling and referencing private on open access data generated prior to the action - Providing guidance on the content to be published, formats and places, including anonymization mechanisms to open data - Guarantee the compliance with the DMP in relation the GDPR (especially linked to the participation in the expert groups) and the access to confidential information The Consortium will adopt an efficient publication management strategy aligned with the EU guidelines concerning open access to scientific publications. Furthermore, this Data Management Plan adheres to the guidelines provided by the European Commission regarding FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) data management, ensuring that the data generated within the project is managed accordingly. Data collection with human subjects will comply with the ethical standards and guidelines of Horizon Europe, regardless of the country in which the activities are carried out. All activities including personal data will be designed and conducted in accordance with the legal framework of application.
