APOIO MUNICIPAL E DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL DOS FEIRANTES EM LUCAS DO RIO VERDE: Impactos e Oportunidades

This study analyzes the role of municipal support in the sustainable development of stallholders in Lucas do Rio Verde, highlighting the importance of street markets as channels of commercialization and social inclusion. The research was carried out with a qualitative and quantitative approach, using data collected through questionnaires applied to local stallholders, allowing an understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by these small producers. The main objectives were to analyze how municipal support can strengthen cooperativism and associations among stallholders and evaluate the effectiveness of the support actions implemented. The results indicated that the majority of products sold originate from the stallholders' own properties, reflecting a strong connection with family farming. However, many stallholders reported a lack of municipal support, which limits their operations and the diversity of products offered. The study concludes that effective public policies are essential to promote an environment favorable to sustainable development, highlighting the need for continuous dialogue between the government and stallholders to meet their specific demands.
