Management of clinical, biological and simulated data for uniform simulation workflows

Simulation workflows imitate and generate data for analysis of biological systems usingcomputer models and are created through the integration of various computationaltools and techniques. For Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVD), we identified theMolgenis database as our project-specific database, Molgenis EMX Catalogue as ourdata catalogue, XNAT medical imaging platform, OpenStack as our cloud platformproviding both file and object storage and OpenVRE as our workflow authoring tool.
