New Heterogeneous Catalysts of Oil Shale And Oil Shale Modified By Zinc Chloride For Direct Imines Synthesis
An ecological support based on oil shale and oil shale doped by zinc chloride reported for the first time as an effective catalyst for imines synthesis by condensation between carbonyl compounds and primary amines. the reaction was efficient under bengin conditions at room temperature using these new heterogeneous catalysts based on Moroccan oil shale (SB) and (Zn/SBc). This latter catalyst (Zn/SBc) allows obtaining imines with good yields in short times and under very mild operating conditions, which is in perfect harmony with green chemistry concepts.
