Photoluminescence and Lifetime Stability of Pentacene and Oxide Perovskites Nanoparticles Films on Nanotextured Silicon Substrate

The present work proposes a new way to obtain stable ferroelectric oxide perovskites with large photoluminescence and very high and stable lifetime beyond that of halogenated perovskites and requiring only ferroelectric nanoparticles, dispersed in phosphoric based gel, thin layers. A protective perovskite layer was deposited on top of the nanoparticle´s film. The typical red-NIR emission band around 650-750 nm associated to the pentacene layer was detected under excitation at 320 nm. In addition to this, a broad visible emission band was observed and became dominant under excitation at around 380 nm, which is attributed to the perovskite nanoparticles. For each pair of doped-undoped, the 1% Mn-doped showed a more intense emission. Consistently, the doping produced an increase of emission intensity for both the pentacene and the perovskites nanoparticles. In the first case with an intensity ratio between 2.27 - 7.70 while, in the second excitation length at 380 nm, the increase of the emission intensity was ranged between 1.6 - 3.14 ration, showing clearly that Mn doping improves the emission intensity. In addition to this, a study of the stability of the luminescence properties was included.
