Quereinsteigende qualifizieren, motivieren, inspirieren
At the end of March 2024, the first certificate course for career changers in the library profession was successfully completed by the Weiterbildungszentrum (Continuing Education Centre) of the FU Berlin in cooperation with the Association of Information and Library Professionals (BIB). The article shows the basic objectives, the concept and the experiences from the implementation of the training for lateral entrants named “Basiswissen Bibliothek für Quereinsteiger:innen“.
